Our OS2 Singlemode Duplex Patch Cables are an essential addition to your fibre optic set-up. They are individually designed to improve the transit of data while offering flexibility that meets the needs of modern businesses. They have a small core in comparison to Multimode alternatives and create a single pathway of light. This allows the light to be realigned towards the centre of the core rather than bouncing off the edges.

Description

Singlemode cables are ordinarily used for longer network connections, specifically those that spread over multiple mules. They are regularly used in telecommunications when creating connections between offices.

Our OS2 patch cable is able to support ethernet speeds of up to 10GB. This can effectively travel over 2km. Each one has been assembled using the highest quality connectors with Singlemode 9/125 fibre optic cables. For additional protection, strain-relief boots have been used to minimise the risk of damage when removing, adjusting and replacing the cable within your set-up. And, for the safety of your workplace, we use a Low Smoke Zero Halogen sleeving. Choose from a number of different connectors, including LC-LC, LC-ST and ST-ST and a variety of lengths all the way up to 30m.
